Educational Requirements:
∎ Qualified to Bachelors or Masters degree level in Economics/ Business/ Management/ Development studies or other social sciences, or equivalent experience

∎ 1 to 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specifically the SBN Intern will:
∎ Support the Bangladesh SBN on strategy development and review the literature to guide the methodological aspects of the Mapping of Private Sector Activities and Strategy Development.
∎ Maintain liaise with partners, SBN Members, SME's and business association and follow up actions from National Coordinator.
∎ Support SBN Coordinator in organizing national SBN events specifically the National Pitch Competition, the SUN Stakeholder meetings, Strategy Consultation meetings etc.
∎ Support National Coordinator to update the SBN Database through collecting information from meeting minutes, events and publication.
∎ Identify issues/areas within relevant government strategy documents and action plans where
∎ the private sector could play an instrumental delivery role, through their core business
∎ operations

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1-2 years' experience working in Bangladesh, either in a private company or in a multistake holder development partnership involving business
∎ Experience in partnership management, business strategy, business processes, business development, communications, marketing and / or management through either paid or volunteering experience
∎ Understanding of the role of business in contributing to Sustainable Development Goals and Government of Bangladesh targets such Vision 2020, 2nd Country Investment Plan and 7th Five Year Plan
