Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate from any reputed university preferably in business or Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
Job Context:
∎ IDE Bangladesh has an internship opportunity in its Procurement and Asset Management Unit and is looking for a young, energetic and enthusiastic person, who can support the procurement team in physical asset verification, reporting, movement and recording.
∎ Number of Intern: 1 (One)
∎ Internship Duration: 03 months
∎ Reporting Line: Manager-Procurement & Asset Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist Manager-Procurement & Asset Management to develop and document relevant purchase documents for filling;
∎ Visit market sporadically to check prices of materials purchasing locally
∎ Provide support to carry out periodic physical asset verification
∎ Assist Manager-Procurement & Asset Management for asset disposal
∎ Assist in monitoring the physical movement of assets from one office to another and maintaining invoices in an appropriate manner
∎ Coordinate with other support functions like HR, IT, Admin and provide necessary support to Supervisor, Manager- Admin and Associate Director Operations as and when required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fresher, experience in Procurement especially in asset and inventory management will get preference
∎ Excellent interpersonal communication and coordination skill
∎ Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and the internet, Google Apps
∎ Ability to work under pressure, hardworking, self-motivated and team player
∎ Good analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Willingness to travel within and outside Dhaka city; preferable to have valid M/C driving license
