Educational Requirements:
∎ A university degree in Environmental Science, Disaster Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography, Development Studies, Urban Planning or any other subjects related to climate change and environmental issues.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The intern will work under the general and overall supervision and guidance of the Principal Advisor, ICICF Project. In order to fulfil his/her tasks, s/he will work in close coordination with the three component responsible Advisors of ICICF Project.:
∎ S/he will be assisting in the documentation of the different activities, events, meetings, workshops etc. under implementing the project
∎ S/he will be assisting in collecting relevant data/information on different activity areas from counterparts, ministries, division/departments, LGIs, development partners, NGOs, universities and other relevant civil society organizations such as sustainable financing, SDG localization, climate financing etc.
∎ S/he will be assisting in organizing capacity development initiatives particularly online and offline trainings, discussion sessions, workshops of the project
∎ S/he will be assisting in general communication with the partners
∎ S/he will be assisting in organizing the meeting with partners and relevant stakeholders at the national and local levels.
∎ S/he will be assisting different studies under the project for project planning and implementation
∎ S/he will support preparing the reports of the different project activities.
∎ Preparation of presentations, speeches etc. as required.
∎ Assist in translation of project-related documents from Bengali to English and Vise-versa
∎ Develop a knowledge product in form of article, case study, report etc. as final output of the internship.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Professional experience: No professional experience is required but participation in different forums, research work, conferences related to climate change and the environment will be added advantage.
∎ Other knowledge, additional competences:
∎ Being pro-active engaged and motivated to contribute and learn
∎ Good command of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
∎ Good language skills in Bangla in oral and written form to express complex conditions.
∎ Good language skills in English in oral and written form.
∎ Working knowledge of internet-based desk research.
∎ Familiarity with thematic issues such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), 8FYP, Local Governance, Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), Climate Change, BCCSAP, NAPA, Environment, Vulnerable Community and Gender Empowerment will be added advantage.
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Independent, highly motivated team member who is willing to learn with and from different groups
∎ Willingness to participate in fieldwork.
