Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Textile Engineering from any reputed University/Institution with good academic records.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To conduct all departmental (theoretical and practical) classes online as per routine by following the curriculum and UIST academic calendar.
∎ To ensure regular class activities (physical and online) with digital content (50% of total course).
∎ To professionally maintain online exam preparation, result publication, daily attendance report preparation, lab report preparation and other BTEB and institutional reports preparation and submission on or before deadline.
∎ To actively initiate/participate in industry visit for industrial tour, industrial attachment training, industrial linkage and job placement.
∎ To actively participate in student admission process (as guided by HoD), student and guardian counselling for increasing attendance, financial clearance, and academic results by arranging guardian meeting and co-curricular activities (as needed by the HoD).
∎ To ensure students activities in project making innovation club activities (must submit one project), job fair arrangement, skills competition with keeping practical area (labs) clean and decorated.
∎ To actively participate in different club activities (as guided by HoD), learning workshops, need based training and institutional development training by personally and together with students (must have one club attachment and one development training).
∎ To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when required and assigned by the UIST authority/Principal/Vice-principal/HoD.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Relevant professional experiences:
∎ - Minimum 03 years for Diploma in Textile Engineering.
∎ - Minimum 02 years for Bachelor Degree in Textile Engineering.
∎ Proficient in MS Office package.
∎ Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bangla.
∎ Self-motivated, adaptable, team player and passion for social development works.
∎ Management has the right to make exceptions based on qualifications.
Salary: Negotiable
