Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Disaster Management, Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Urban & Regional Planning, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography and Environment, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management Information System
∎ Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent in MIS/Disaster Management/ URP/Geography or environmental staff or any other relevant subject from any reputed university.
∎ Skills Required: Auditing, Budgeting, Monitoring and Evalaution

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Enhanced community resilience and institutional capacity on local disaster risk management:
∎ Contribute to the development of information management strategy by reviewing information needs and gaps for resilience data matrix approach in community resilience building.
∎ Evaluate current information management processes and tools and drafting an information collection and management plan in support of HCMP's MIS team.
∎ Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
∎ Provide necessary guidance to the field staff on different MIS tools and techniques for monitoring of activities and collection of field data.
∎ Perform advisory and technical assignments in the use of Geographic Information System (GIS)

∎ Enhanced organizational Emergency Preparedness:
∎ Prepare info-graphic report, fact sheet and other visualize reports of project deliverables and also compile and mapping all the intervention's geographical status.
∎ Support in preparing local disaster & humanitarian resilience planning at Upazila level (Risk Reduction implementation Guideline)

∎ Sectoral Strategic Planning and Fund Raising:
∎ Assist in preparing knowledge management and communication documents for DRR project.
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of DRR strategies.

∎ Stakeholders coordination & networking:
∎ Maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders at the field level including government actors, local leadership, beneficiary populations and their representatives, etc.

∎ Employee Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years in Programme Development/ DRR/ Information Management/ MIS/URP or any other relevant field in the development sector of NGO/ INGO.
