Job Context:
∎ The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a leading international, non-profit, non-governmental organization with Headquarters in Denmark, providing relief, protection and resettlement services to refugees and displaced persons worldwide. The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), one of the world`s leading NGOs, with a focus on responding to displacement, has been registered in Bangladesh since 2013. In 2017, in response to the Rohingya influx, DRC launched an integrated program of support to the government in site management, shelter/NFI and protection. As a key part of this, DRC opened a main office in Cox`s Bazar, and a support/liaison office in Dhaka, to carry out its operations.

∎ POSITION PROFILE
∎ Overall purpose of the role:
∎ Under the supervision of the SMS Manager and in close coordination with Site Management team, the IM Officer will be responsible for information management in the camp and ensure all data is kept up to date and safe.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Keeping all records updated including Safety Unit Volunteers (SUVs), Site Management Support (SMS) volunteers, community groups, camp committees, and provide Age Gender and Diversity (AGD) breakdown analysis.
∎ Updating the service mapping continuously including additional data regarding service providers.
∎ Update the 4Ws tool on a regular basis.
∎ Keep record of new service providers and plot allocations.
∎ Provide info on camp level geographical location of main service providers and update it continuously as well as record all the GPS points for the different structures in the camp.
∎ Keep track of relocation data per camp including internal and external relocations.
∎ Develop distribution forms and keep track of distribution lists.
∎ Develop when needed, camp level Household lists including bio data, address, phone numbers, card number etc.
∎ Collect camp level requested data and share with the Manager and Senior CCCM Manager for compilation across the camps.
∎ Keep records of all minutes of meetings.
∎ Ensure all attendance sheets are available for all meetings.
∎ Ensure all data is entered and soft/hard copies are archived.
∎ Any other task as requested by the SMS manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
∎ Professional technical experience matching the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities. So ability to work with KoboCollect, SPSS and Advanced Excel (essential)
∎ A minimum of 1-year experience in Information management.
∎ Relevant educational background and knowledge of the humanitarian system
∎ Knowledge and understanding of the complexity related to refugee and IDP situations.
∎ Willingness to live and work in a challenging environment with limited resources
∎ Advanced Excel skills / certificate

∎ Chittagonian (required)

Salary:
∎ Tk. 63240 (Monthly)
∎ Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Council`s Terms of Employment for National Staff in Bangladesh. DRC will provide training and professional development opportunities for the selected candidate.
