Job Context:

∎ START DATE: As Soon As Possible.
∎ WORK LOCATION: Cox`s Bazar (Travel to Ukhiya, Teknaf, Ramu and Maheshkhali)
∎ CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term.
∎
∎ Under overall guidance and supervision of ICT & IS Officer, s/he will responsible for the implementation of "GIZ Info-hubs intervention in Cox`s Bazar 2021 -2023" project at Info hubs level and will provide technical support for IPS, WiFi router, mobile hand set maintenance and electrical components to all 30 Info Hubs in the project working location.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Ensure the smooth operation of IPS at all Info Hubs by proper maintenance and troubleshooting
∎ Operation and installation of IPS at Info Hubs in community level.
∎ Performing schedule maintenance of IPS.
∎ Find out the defects of IPS in case of malfunction and troubleshoot accordingly.
∎ Proper handling the tools and spare parts of IPS.
∎ Mission 2: Setting up new electrical connection and modifying the previous connection of Info Hubs
∎ Assist Construction team for designing and budgeting of electrical set up and wiring of Info Hubs
∎ Ensure electrical set up and rewiring of Info Hubs during construction/reconstruction/renovation works.
∎ Ensure electrical panel installation, upgrading, and replacement, ceiling and exhaust fan installation and repair
∎ Ensure all lighting requirements - fixture installation, replacement, and repair of Info Hubs
∎ Ensure electrical safety inspections, electrical maintenance and repairs regular basis.
∎ Regular visit in Info Hubs and check the power supply source and report to the supervisor.
∎ Mission 3: Supporting Info hub activities and team
∎ Ensuring Wi-Fi router system operation, ICT cabling and mobile hand set services of Info hubs
∎ Ensuring digital signboard establishment and maintenance at Info Hubs level
∎ Support Info Hubs entrepreneurs for setting up and primary troubleshooting of different electrical device such as Photocopier, Desktop, Laptop, Scanner, Laminator, Wi-Fi camera etc.
∎ Providing periodic reports based on requirement
∎ Performing any other related duties as assigned by supervisor from time to time for smoothly operation of Info Hubs.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 1 years proven professional experience in IPS maintenance and electrical services is preferable.
∎ Experience of working in Cox's Bazar district will be an added-value.
∎ Relevant professional experience will be benefit in advance.
∎ Willingness to move regularly at ward/union level.
∎ Good skill in IPS maintenance, including mechanical and electrical components
∎ Basic knowledge in Wi-Fi router and mobile hand set services
∎ Ability to read, write and understand English.
∎ Good human relationship
∎ Good rapport building ability;
∎ Good communication skills;
Salary: Tk. 29160 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 02 basic salary per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
