Experience:
Strategically oversee the end-to-end garment production process from fabric receiving to final shipment, ensuring seamless coordination among all departments.
Monitor and drive timely shipment delivery, maintaining adherence to quality, compliance, and buyer standards to enhance profitability and brand reputation.
Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks by streamlining workflows, reducing process complexity, and improving overall efficiency.
Conduct accurate method studies and time-motion analysis to optimize production operations and achieve balanced production lines.
Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production targets in alignment with planning and customer requirements.
Analyze Standard Minute Value (SMV), line efficiency, and capacity utilization to support cost-effective planning and labor productivity.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and enhance overall production efficiency.
Implement modern machinery and automation to improve productivity and reduce manual labor dependency.
Maintain strict adherence to production schedules through effective capacity planning and real-time monitoring.
Provide strong floor supervision to ensure target-oriented, high-quality output from production lines.
Establish and maintain effective communication with cutting, sewing, finishing, and quality control teams to prevent short shipments and ensure order fulfillment.
Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and marketing teams through regular review meetings to align production targets with order commitments.
Track and analyze production performance daily; conduct root cause analysis for deviations and implement corrective actions promptly.
Identify gaps in existing processes, eliminate redundant steps, and redesign Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for optimal flow and efficiency.
Stay updated on global best practices, production technologies, and digital tools relevant to industrial engineering in the apparel sector.
Prepare and present performance reports, efficiency metrics, and improvement proposals to senior management.
Lead and mentor the IE team, providing training and development to enhance team capability and performance.
Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by senior or top management.
Last but not the least present 2 concise copies of, daily production performance, upcoming weekly target & planning and monthly production forecast. One of each for MD and Director.
