- Age At least 30 years
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Chemistry or related field.
8–12 years of experience in garment washing (denim preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of washing techniques and chemicals.
Good understanding of buyer quality standards.
Leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in English.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure overall quality control in washing (denim/non-denim) processes.
Monitor washing parameters including enzyme, bleach, tinting, dyeing, and special effects.
Develop and implement quality assurance standards and SOPs.
Conduct inline and final inspections to maintain buyer requirements.
Coordinate with production, merchandising, and compliance teams.
Analyze washing defects and take corrective & preventive actions.
Ensure shade consistency, hand feel, and appearance as per buyer standards.
Maintain documentation and prepare quality reports.
Handle buyer audits and technical discussions related to washing quality.
