Job Context:
∎ Mission: this position will work on an Inclusion project which will provide technical support to partner organization in mainstreaming inclusion in their activities. The objective is to increase the capacity of the partner staff to make their activities and facilities more inclusive.
∎ Reports to: Senior Inclusion Officer
∎ Interacts with:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data collection about inclusion needs and conduct assessment on the barrier and facilitator of partner organization facilities and services regarding inclusion.
∎ Support Senior Officer to organize, arrange, and conduct trainings on inclusion mainstreaming
∎ Prepare work plans and periodic program reports.
∎ Support the partner organization staffs in implementing inclusion related activities.
∎ Build the capacities of the partner staff as directed by the line manager.
∎ Support in developing module, action plan and adapted tools for partner organization.
∎ Support and follow up the implementation of action plan of inclusion mainstreaming as directed by the line manager
∎ Field visits including the preparation of field reports
∎ Identify opportunities to mainstream inclusion and report to line manager
∎ Ensure proper coordination between relevant persons
∎ Adherence to HI Code of Conduct, PSEA and Child Safeguarding Policy

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in implementing disability related programs
∎ Experience in conducting on-the-job capacity building support
∎ Experience of working with INGO/NGO is an asset
∎ Good planning skills
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in Bengali and English
∎ Computing skills (MS office package- both in English and Bangla) desired
∎ Knowledge of working with people with disability is a strong asset

Salary:

Presently HI Bangladesh is implementing projects on integrating disability in community based disaster risk reduction and response; economic empowerment of extreme poor persons with disabilities; mainstreaming disability in livelihood interventions; support to refugees and surrounding communities;, capacity building of professional associations; and support to Disabled People`s Organizations; among others.”
