Educational Requirements:
∎ University degree or equivalent in in Occupational Therapy (preferable), Physiotherapy social science, disability studies, international development, humanitarian assistance or any other relevant area.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity Building:
∎ Based on the Humanitarian Inclusion Standards for Older People and People with Disabilities, work with World Vision and other mainstream organizations to incorporate disability inclusion into MEAL frameworks and develop implementation plan to meet indicators
∎ Design and support humanitarian partners in collecting disability disaggregated data using the Washington Group Short Set of Questions and conducting Capacity Gap Analysis, including focus group discussion inclusive of persons with disabilities
∎ In collaboration with CDD's Senior Training Officer and CBM's Humanitarian Disability Inclusion Advisor develop training packages on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action (ie. Collection of disability disaggregated data and use of the Washington Group of Questions, Inclusion of persons with disabilities in WASH, protection and other sectors, Use of disability inclusion standards, guidelines and tools, etc.).
∎ Work with World Vision and other mainstream organizations to incorporate components on disability inclusion into their existing training materials and programs.
∎ Provide on-site technical support to humanitarian partners to improve inclusion of persons with disabilities in their projects.
∎ Work with WaSH partners to assess and prescribe home hygiene solutions for older people and people with disabilities
∎ Conduct accessibility audits of camp infrastructure and develop recommendations to improve accessibility based on national and international building standards and universal design principles.
∎ In collaboration with CBM's Humanitarian Disability Inclusion Advisor, develop accessible WaSH designs, and oversee the process of construction and validation of accessible WaSH prototypes in the camp.
∎ Develop IEC material which can be used for advocacy and sensitization at cluster level, and provide technical guidance on disability inclusion.
∎ Identify appropriate persons with disabilities among Rohingya population in order to support affected communities voices being included in the humanitarian assistance (through either opportunities during various studies carried out by UN agencies and other humanitarian INGO/NGOs or through attending cluster coordination meetings when possible)
∎ Link with any national, regional or local initiatives to support DPO leaders, when possible, to provide trainings to mainstream humanitarian organisations to include disability in their response strategies.
∎ Maintain regular coordination with CDD teams to share information on challenges facing persons with disabilities to access services, develop joint solutions and share information on referrals
∎ In collaboration with CDD Program Manager and Project Officers, develop training sessions for CDD teams to build capacity on disability inclusion and share examples of good practice
∎ Upon request of the CBM Humanitarian Disability Inclusion Advisor and CDD Inclusion Coordinator, participate in the Age and Disability Task Force (ADTF) and other sector coordination meetings to provide technical input on disability inclusion

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ University Degree in Occupational Therapy (preferable), Physiotherapy, Human rights, sociology, disability studies, international development, humanitarian assistance or any other relevant area
∎ Experience in inclusion of at risk groups ideally in humanitarian context- persons with disabilities, women, children, and older people
∎ Experience in capacity building and delivering trainings, preferably in the field of age and /or disability
∎ Experience in humanitarian/ development context and preferably in an advocacy and/or technical support position highly desirable
∎ Knowledge on humanitarian sectors, specifically WaSH and protection, highly desirable
∎ Knowledge / understanding on the rights of persons with disabilities, older people or other at risk groups and their challenges in humanitarian/development context highly desirable
∎ Knowledge / understanding of humanitarian architecture, disability inclusion standards and guidelines and Universal Design principles highly desirable
∎ Experience working with partners and other international stakeholders (UN, INGOs) highly desirable
∎ Experience in managing project implementation highly desirable
∎ Personal Profile & Competencies
∎ Ability to take initiative and generate ideas to complex situations
∎ Diplomacy skills and ability to understand and handle multiple perspectives
∎ Skills in inclusive facilitation and communication
∎ Cross-cultural communication skills
∎ Ability to prioritize workload in fast paced environment and handle stress with limited supervision
∎ Willingness to learn and take on progressive portfolio of responsibilities
∎ Excellent oral and written English and Bangla and capacity to product learning documents and products
∎ Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)

Salary: Tk. 80000 - 88000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Job Period: 5.5 months (renewal subject to availability of the fund).
∎ You will also enjoy 1 full month's salary as festival allowance calculated on prorate basis. You will also receive communication and internet allowance as per organizational decision.
