Job Context:
∎ For the team of our "Sustainability in the Textile and Leather Sector, STILE", we seek applications for the position of "ICT and Digitalization Advisor".
∎ Contract Duration: June 2024
∎ Number of Position: 1
∎ Band: 4

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position holder is responsible for:
∎ Managing an area of responsibility that forms part of the programme objectives, team agreements and/or agreements with the superior
∎ Assisting project/programme initiatives to provide professional advisory services to and cooperate with a broad range of target groups
∎ Advise supervisor on all task when implementing GIZ rules and regulation
∎ Advise supervisor in the field of project's planning, steering and monitoring
∎ Independently implement goals and requirements set by the line manager
∎ Make decisions which have a short-term effect within a limited project area/ unit
∎ Assist supervisor to identify day to day problem and suggest appropriate solution
∎ In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:
∎ Tasks (Specific for Job Role):
∎ Supports the implementation of the upgrading of existing and design of new software applications for Governmental processes, like Labour Management Information Application (LIMA), Environmental Clearance Certificate (ECC) and others.
∎ Provides inputs, expert opinion and advisory to other digitization processes.
∎ Ensure the implementation of a digital transformation process in alignment with the project activities within the project partners structure (MoLE, DIFE, etc).
∎ Provide advice to the partners in adopting a structured approach towards digitization, including advisory services on organizational development.
∎ Streeing adoption of data driven decision making process within the partner structure.
∎ Ensures digital solution supported by GIZ - adhere and comply with the local regulations and the EU data protection law.
∎ Where appropriate and reasonable, the position holder is willing to perform tasks outside the scope of the job description.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellency in software analysis, data management, programming
∎ Professional experience:
∎ 8 years in relevant occupational experience
∎ 2 years in project implementation
∎ Experience in communication with authorities or representing a company or organization
∎ Previous job experience in development partners will be an asset
∎ Other knowledge, additional competences:
∎ Ability to work well under pressure and must be a strong team player
∎ Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Fluency in English is essential
∎ Knowledge of German Language is an asset
∎ Ability to work in an intercultural environment
