Job Context:
∎ Samaj Kallayan O Unnayan Shangstha (SKUS) envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and poverty-free society that ensures everyone`s basic needs and rights. SKUS has since the 2017 Rohingya refugee influx worked in Cox`s Bazar district with children adolescents, women, and men. Based on children`s, adolescents`, women`s, and human rights. SKUS has established quality learning and protection centers with support from different international donors, including UN agencies.
∎ SKUS is implementing the "Safeguarding women`s and children`s rights in the Rohingya refugee crisis in Ukhiya sub-district in Bangladesh" project with the support of KNH-Germany. The project aims to improve particularly, women, children, and adolescents of Rohingya refugees in the camps and among the inhabitants of the host community`s well-being. The project also has aimed to secure their livelihoods and improve their ability to organize themselves.

∎ SKUS is looking for a suitable candidate for the immediate appointment of Human Resource (HR) officer for the project as mentioned above, supported by KNH-Germany. The HR officer is responsible for managing day to day HR functions. HR officer is responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, payroll, and record keeping.
∎ Contract Duration: The initial start-up project is until March 2021 and funds are secured for continuation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment processes.
∎ Onboarding new employees and reply to inquiries regarding HR policies and practices.
∎ Assist employees completing their annual performance appraisal.
∎ Timely process payroll and other employee benefits.
∎ Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in manual and digital format.
∎ Regularly prepare different type of reports and submit them to the supervisors.
∎ Maintain personal files of each employee.
∎ Communicate with unit heads and ensure timely renewal of staff contracts.
∎ Timely communicate with the insurance company and confirm insurance coverage for incumbent and exclude departing staff.
∎ Facilitate exit meeting with outgoing employees and provide a consolidated report to the management.
∎ Issue experience, employment, salary certificate as and when required.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in HR functions.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English; both writing and speaking.
∎ Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ Previous experience in providing remote support.
∎ Flexible, motivated, and able to persistently complete tasks.
∎ Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and smartly communicate with various levels of staff.
∎ Well organized and keen to detail.
∎ High integrity and confidentiality.
∎ Skill in Microsoft package; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowing advance excel formulas will be given preference.

∎ Tk. 50000 - 62000 (Monthly)
