Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Daily data management at facility level.
∎ Will provide technical support to the program and build capacity in the health program through strengthening learning and knowledge sharing across the wider humanitarian community.
∎ Responsible for the data entry system from the health facilities in the field and timely reporting of data and statistics to different stakeholders.
∎ Communicate with Facility In-charge to ensure quality data entry from field level.
∎ Assist the team to ensure accountability to affected populations (AAP) data is collected routinely throughout the project cycle, enabling evidence-based programming and corrective action.
∎ Support to implement DHIS2 where appropriate and applicable, control and manage DHIS2 and data entry requirements.
∎ Lead the regular report process and work closely with MEAL Officer to aggregate project data.
∎ Provide support and coordinate data gathering and data management of population-based surveys and surveillance activities.
∎ Assist to organize internal reviews and lessons learned workshops and present practical recommendations.
∎ Ensure after-action reviews and lessons learned exercises, including data collected through.
∎ Support in Community-Based Feedback and Response Mechanism (CBFRM) and other participative forms of community engagement and feedback collection.
∎ BSC in Social Science/Statistics/Development Studies/Public Health/any other relevant field.
∎ Minimum experience of 2 years with NGOs in Health project or Programme in a HIS/MEAL-related position.
∎ Knowledge of data collection methods and apps such as KOBO.
∎ Good computer skills or data entry skills.
∎ Good communication skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure in a hard to reach area and at a low resource setting.
