Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Medicine (MBBS)/ Master's in Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology or equivalent from an accredited academic institution.

Job Context:
∎ Nari Maitree (NM) is a women-led, non-governmental organization started its journey in 1983 and since then it has completed a journey of 40 years with an experience of working in various sectors like Health and nutrition, adolescent and youth, Gender equality and equity , Women empowerment, Child rights, livelihood, Education, water and sanitation, Humanitarian response ,Climate change and food security. Nari Maitree is going to implement a project with CORE Group, USA to improve the health and wellbeing of the forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals (Rohingya) and other Host communities living in Cox`s Bazar district in Bangladesh by addressing their SRMNCAH needs. Nari Maitree is seeking application from the suitable candidates for the following position for its Cox`s Bazar Office:
∎ Report to : Project Coordinator/ Executive Director - Nari Maitree

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical guidance and expertise on various aspects of public health, including but not limited to maternal and child health, infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, and mental health. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in the field.
∎ Manage Medical, Pediatric, Neonates and infection prevention emergencies presenting to the PHCC/ SRH, ensuring appropriate referral as needed
∎ Working closely with other health facility/ medical mobile team clinical staffs/ midwives to ensure the delivery of high quality comprehensive emergency and primary healthcare services/ MCH care services and sexual and reproductive healthcare services are ensured
∎ Ensure a strong partnership with MoH and other stakeholders in the Upazilla
∎ Design and deliver training programs and workshops to build the capacity of project staff, healthcare providers, and community members. Topics may include disease prevention and control, healthcare service delivery, health promotion, and emergency response.
∎ Capacity building of other healthcare workers.
∎ Work with Nutrition Officer to identify and address implementation bottlenecks.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely reporting of activities for internal and external reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly and final reports) as required by Nari Maitree, HO, sector, government and donors.
∎ Complete the administrative aspects of managing teams of people, including scheduling, timesheet approval, holiday planning, objective setting and disciplinary procedures.
∎ Serve as the health sector communication and coordination focal point for assigned camps.
∎ Develop supportive communication structures within teams and to the beneficiary community.
∎ Ensure Health Education programs utilize standardized protocols, policies, and guidelines according to the agreed standards, contextualized to Rohingya Refugee Response.
∎ Coaching and directly supporting community volunteers implementation of the Community-Based Surveillance (CBS) and reporting, Health Promo-tion/Education, Community awareness program activities.
∎ Develop or revise Health Outreach training materials, monitoring and evaluation tools, and client documentation forms as needed in collaboration with technical advisor.
∎ Technical support and overseeing community health related assessment/survey that are conducted at the respective camps.
∎ Actively monitor programmes/projects through field visits, surveys and/or exchange of information with partners/stakeholders to assess progress, identify bottlenecks, potential problems and take timely decisions to resolve issues and/or refer to relevant officials for timely resolution.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of three years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health/nutrition planning and management, maternal, neonatal and child health care, or health emergency/humanitarian preparedness.
∎ Have experience working in humanitarian or emergency preparedness and response
∎ Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
∎ Fluency in English is required.
∎ Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment and to work well with the local health representatives

Salary: Tk. 70000 (Monthly)
