Educational Requirements:
∎ Essential Education diploma in social science, communication, nursing or teaching.
∎ Previous experience with MSF/INGO is preferable.
∎ Fluency in Bengali and English are required.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office required.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Inform patients and communities about MSF and the services it provides.
∎ According to medical priorities, deliver information to the patients and community on specific health topics.
∎ Implement activities of health education and awareness (sessions in schools, community), under the indications and supervision of the Health Promoter Supervisor.
∎ Under the guide of Health Supervisor, assess the impact of activities (with questions, verifications and behaviors observations), and report problems, success and constraints to him/her.
∎ Collect all types of information related to specific health and living conditions of the population, in particular, to identify the most vulnerable populations to target.
∎ Report to HP Supervisor: activities, problems met, strengths and constraints.
∎ Establish and maintain contacts with social partners, including other NGO's, and governmental health services that can provide answers to social problems.
∎ Keep education and communication areas clean and tidy and professional materials available.
∎ Participate in the creation of any material needed for the activities of information, education, and communication.
∎ Other:
∎ In charge of planning, designing, producing, testing, and monitoring all IEC material of the
∎ project. Materials can include digital, printed, audio, video, etc.
∎ Formulating the project's specific aims and objectives for IEC material by:
∎ i. Identifying the health and hygiene habits or knowledge among the patients coming to seek medical help in MSF facilities and using this information for the setup of subjects for IEC material.
∎ ii. Identify the priorities for IEC materials and activities using medical statistics, online
∎ research, surveys, community observations, and feedback.
∎ Planning, writing proposals and designing activities and IEC materials for designated days of international significance.
∎ Supporting the HPAM in designing the HP and CE strategy for the project.
∎ Supporting the HPAM and Health Promoter Supervisor in defining the strategy and method for IEC material dissemination and utilization.
∎ Analyzing the impact of IEC material by carrying out regular observations, and surveys, and eliciting community feedback.
∎ Collaborating with Community Health Educators that are involved in health and hygiene promotion within the community and clinic to ensure proper use of IEC material.
∎ Monitoring specific HP activities, such as Dignity Kit distributions and school programs.
∎ Supply planning for IEC materials and distribution kit items.
∎ Assists in providing translation for training sessions
∎ Supporting the planning, designing, producing, testing, and monitoring of Digital Health
∎ Promotion campaigns.
∎ Make monthly reports on IEC activities for the Monthly Medical Report, distribution
∎ updates, and school programs
∎ Material development to assist in patient navigation of the MSF clinics.
∎ Flexible to gap fill and participate in emergency response.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 52730 - 63276 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly salary according to level 5 of the internal MSF salary grid, which is 52730 BDT gross. Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employees and direct dependents.
No relocation allowance shall be provided.
