Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and provide strategic leadership in designing and implementing a conducive and integrated structure & pathways of BRAC Youth Platform for Amra Notun Network (ANN - Through this network, the youth of Bangladesh will be equipped with necessary skillsets, positive mindset and improved pathways to be resilient in life, citizenship and future world of work) and Creative Clubs (CC - designed for adolescents, to prepare them with necessary skillsets, mindset and environment, to be resilient for the ever changing nature of life, prepare them to be active citizens and work ready for future employment) projects, and oversee the implementation of programme strategy and implementation.
∎ Develop transformative technical approaches for Amra Notun Network (ANN) and Creative Clubs (CC) in order to promote innovation for learning.
∎ Raise significant resources from existing and new donors to continue programming at scale in Bangladesh and beyond, by ensuring transformation of BRAC values & learning to BRAC Local & BRAC International. Ensure effective learning is captured and assumptions are tested through the pilots for a scale up model.
∎ Help core management to design new projects/proposals and review and provide technical input on proposals. Bring innovation in terms of digitally enabled education for ANN and CC projects to address newness in the system, as required.
∎ Review and provide technical input on internal and external impact documents/ reports and other documents. Fosters donor relations and ensures consistent fundraising for BRAC Youth Platform's programming.
∎ Ensure capacity development and performance management of respective staff i.e., set objectives, manage performance against those objectives, need assessment, provide training, follow up etc. Build relationships with key stakeholders, affiliates and partners.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members and project participants from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
