• A minimum Graduation and a relevant field Graduation will be a plus.

• Proven experience in a similar leadership role in a tech/software company.

• At least 10+ years’ experience in the relevant field.

• Expertise in designing scalable, secure web architectures, including microservices and MVC patterns, with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Express.js, Django, NestJs and strong API design skills (RESTful and GraphQL).

• Experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and skills in database optimization.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Knowledge of web application security (OWASP), implementing authentication/authorization, data encryption, and secure coding practices.

• Skills in web performance optimization, load testing, performance monitoring, and collaborating with UX/UI designers for intuitive interfaces.

• Proficiency in Agile development (Scrum), and implementing TDD/BDD with automated testing tools (Selenium, Jest).

• Staying updated with industry trends, integrating machine learning models using data analytics and AI, and maintaining version control (Git) for collaborative development.

• Strong communication skills and ability to influence people collaboratively

• Creative thinking and innovation skills along with outstanding business acumen

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Setting and driving the technical vision and strategy for the company, aligning it with business objectives and market trends.

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements aligning with business requirements.

• Lead the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring smooth transitions from design to deployment and operations.

• Overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality products or solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements and quality standards.

• Managing and mentoring software engineering teams, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Manage stakeholders, coordinating communications and ensuring alignment with project plans.

• Coach and nurture engineering talent within the platform, fostering a culture of forward thinking, learning, development, change, team work, innovation, and integrity.

• Utilize cost management expertise to support business strategies and evaluate project success.

• Champion customer needs and pain points, striving to solve them effectively through platform innovations and solutions.

• Evaluating and implementing new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance engineering capabilities and efficiency.
