Job Context:
∎ We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented and experienced individual from the Electric & Electrical Accessories Industry to lead our Sales team (Corporate, Dealer & Retail) in the Switch Socket Division. The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, managing the sales team, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. He may also need to play the role head of business in his absence.
∎ This role requires a strong combination of leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales and growth targets for the Switch Socket Division.
∎ Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for expansion and competitive advantage.
∎ Expand dealers network & include new corporate customers
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual sales forecast to support SCM to ensure timely product in the Ware House
∎ Provide timely & effective solutions to the sales team when required
∎ Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their performance and potential.
∎ Set clear sales targets and KPIs, regularly reviewing and assessing team performance against these goals.
∎ Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
∎ Collaborate with clients to understand their feedback, address concerns, and continuously improve products and services.
∎ Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients, industries, and markets to expand the company's customer base.
∎ Establish and nurture partnerships with relevant stakeholders to enhance market reach and increase sales.
∎ Monitor sales metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
∎ Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales objectives.
∎ Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape within the switch socket market.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Proven experience as Head of sales, Head of corporate sales, dealer sales or similar senior role
∎ Experience in the Switch & Socket sales is highly desirable
∎ Ability to travel as needed
∎ Ability to analyze data and use insights to make strategic decisions.
∎ Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
∎ Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
∎ Ability to handle stress
