Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/ MBA or B.Sc Engineering from any reputed university or any other relevant discipline from any recognised University with minimum second class in all exams/CGPA 2.5 and above or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design, develop and submit project proposals on road safety to development partners, Government and businesses. Strategic and Tactical planning for different existing & future projects.
∎ Supervise budgeting on different project proposals related to Road Safety. Taking part in internal and external events to connect with potential partners and donors.
∎ Coordination/ liaison with officials of ministries, departments, divisions of GoB i.e. BRTA, RHD, LGED, DGHS etc.; development partners e.g. WB, ADB WHO, UNICEF etc.; Multinational business companies, local NGOs and INGOs.
∎ With collaboration of PRL unit, develop, oversee and actively lead the fundraising strategy for Road Safety programme.
∎ Provide leadership in implementing Road Safety programme including BRAC Driving School and Safe Road for women and Girl's project activities as per agreement and guide the work of other members in the team.
∎ Leverage technology and social media in collaboration with internal communications for attracting and promoting business of BRAC Driving School.
∎ Design and implement business plan for sustainability and surplus making of BRAC Driving School. Introduce new courses in BRAC driving school as per requirement of the industry and different stakeholders.
∎ Identify areas and take initiatives for capacity building of Trainers and Instructors of BDS with support of BLD. Towards promoting "four wheels to freedom" project, recruit women for training and employment as professional drivers.
∎ Managing finance of road safety projects and driving school. Preparing monitoring tools and MIS reporting formats for road safety projects and driving school. Plan & organise impact assessment of road safety and driving training project.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
∎ Perform any other duties as assigned by the higher authority

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of experiences in experience in related field.
∎ Knowledge on Budgeting In-depth understanding of deeper road safety issues/ Training cycle/ Participatory management/ Fund raising process/ M&E/ Impact Assessment/ Should be sincere, polite, dynamic, hardworking and willing to work under pressure/ good communication skills in both Bengali and English/ Sound knowledge on Computer Literacy/ Excellent analytical skills.
∎ Knowledge on Organising national/ regional events/ workshop/ seminar jointly with MoC, BRTA, LGED, GJ&D etc.
