Experience:

• At least 20 years

• MBA or Master’s degree from a recognized university.

• Professional banking certifications/training will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a senior leadership role in Retail Banking

• Strong exposure to branch banking, consumer lending, deposits and retail liability products

• Proven track record in business growth, team leadership, and regulatory compliance

• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

• Sound understanding of retail banking risks, compliance, and Bangladesh Bank guidelines

• Ability to drive digital transformation and customer-centric initiatives

• Formulating and executing retail banking strategy aligned with the Bank’s overall business objectives

• Leading and managing retail assets & liabilities, branch banking, consumer finance, deposits, cards, and digital retail products

• Driving business growth, revenue generation, and portfolio quality while maintaining risk controls

• Ensuring compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, and governance standards

• Enhancing customer experience and service quality across all retail touchpoints

• Leading, mentoring, and developing retail banking teams across branches and divisions

• Introducing innovative retail products and strengthening digital and alternate delivery channels

• Monitoring performance, MIS, budgeting, and cost optimization of the Retail Banking Division
