Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong professional to lead our Refrigeration & Technical Services Department. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the nationwide repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support of deep freezers and refrigeration equipment installed at various locations across Bangladesh.

The position requires strong technical expertise in commercial refrigeration, field-service management, team leadership and preventive maintenance, preferably with experience in the ice cream, FMCG, food & beverage or similar industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nationwide Refrigeration & Technical Services team.

• Oversee repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of deep freezers and commercial refrigeration equipment.

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime.

• Ensure timely deployment of technicians for service requirements across different locations in Bangladesh.

• Diagnose recurring technical problems and develop effective long-term solutions.

• Monitor service quality, response time, repair costs and equipment performance.

• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for refrigeration repair and maintenance.

• Maintain proper records of equipment, breakdowns, spare parts, repairs and maintenance history.

• Plan and control the requirement and inventory of spare parts, tools and technical materials.

• Coordinate with Sales, Distribution, Depot and other relevant departments regarding refrigeration-related issues.

• Evaluate the performance, productivity and technical competency of refrigeration technicians.

• Train and develop the technical team on refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, safety and maintenance practices.

• Coordinate with external service providers, suppliers and equipment manufacturers when required.

• Prepare and monitor the annual budget for refrigeration repair, maintenance and spare parts.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and proper handling of refrigeration equipment.

• Provide regular reports to Management on equipment condition, maintenance activities, breakdowns, costs and other key performance indicators.
