We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Research & Development to join our team and drive our product innovation and development efforts.
∎ The Head of Research & Development (R&D) will lead our R&D team, focusing on the development of new products, improvement of existing products, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of food science, a passion for innovation, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to commercialization.
∎ Leadership & Strategy:
∎ Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with the company’s goals and market trends.
∎ Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
∎ Collaborate with senior management to define product development priorities and timelines.
∎ Oversee the formulation and development of new food products, from ideation through to commercialization.
∎ Ensure all new products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
∎ Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and opportunities for new product development.
∎ Improve existing products and processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
∎ Implement best practices in food technology and R&D methodologies.
∎ Utilize sensory evaluation and consumer feedback to refine product offerings.
∎ Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance.
∎ Present research findings and product development progress to stakeholders.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions.
