Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture
∎ Training/Trade Course: Hybrid Rice Seed Production,Hybrid Rice Vegetable Seed production technology
∎ Skills Required: Agronomist,Horticulture

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): agro based farm, Seed Production from a reputed Seed Production organization

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ability to formulate Production Schedule
∎ Implement and control the production schedule
∎ Review and adjust the schedule where needed
∎ Determine the human resources required
∎ Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
∎ Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
∎ Set product quality standards and Monitor quality standards of products
∎ Implement cost control programs
∎ Provide proper guidance to seed production officers to produce inbred/hybrid rice seeds.
∎ To help seed production officers in executing different program as per schedule and guidance from higher Management.
∎ To conduct seed production training program for the production related officers and staffs.
∎ To ensure timely logistic support to the production offices.
∎ To propose fixing up of procurement prices of seed produced through contract farmers.
∎ To liaison with different govt. and private organizations.
∎ To maintain the purity of inbred/hybrid lines.
∎ To submit the production budget and monthly progress report of hybrid/inbred rice seed production.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years

Salary: Negotiable
