Additional Requirements:

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 -8 years experience in production area within FMCG, pharmaceutical or similar industry of which at least 3 years in a managerial role.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Fluent in English, Local language knowledge is an asset.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in Integrated Work System (IWS), DMS and related tools is an advantage

We are now looking for a dynamic individual for the role of HEAD OF PRODUCTION, BANGLADESH to join our Bangladesh - based operations.

Purpose:

  • Manage, plan, lead activities of Production function in compliance to Sustainability, Quality and Legal requirements.
  • Ensure full focus on achieving all assigned KPIs "end-to-end" (from Supplier to Consumer) linked to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale, following a preventive/predictive approach
  • Own strategy development and deployment (linked to Open+/IOS) for Production function.
  • Develop and lead an integrated and high performing team following principles of OPEN+/IOS to step up the team capabilities.

The Candidate will have the following accountabilities:

SUSTAINABILITY:

  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss.
  • Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS.

QUALITY:

  • Ensure compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and guidelines related to quality of incoming materials, SFGs and FGs in line with the QMS.
  • Define in cooperation with QA responsibles and relevant stakeholders, the quality streategy to prevent quality incidents, to reduce and eliminate non conformities in the process and to guarantee product integrity.
  • Ensure the highest internal and external consumers satisfaction, through Open+/IOS tools.

DELIVERY:

  • Guarantee production plans adherence and high consumer service level.
  • Lead the Production function DDS to ensure timely triggers and corrective actions are closed to improve the KPIs.
  • Ensure the end-to-end business review by contributing to Factory strategy according to Open+/IOS (PDCA cycle).
  • Define the strategy to maximise all the operational KPIs to guarantee stability of internal and external process.
  • Is responsible for the Technical Services organization and the VSU leader in order to assure vertical start up of projects and inititiatives in the production function, collaborating with the main stakeholders
  • Is responsible for the Technical Services organization to assure the definition, the deployment of maintenance strategy and the codesign of actual and future processes wiht the aim of losses elimination

COST:

  • Define and lead the production function budget in line with strategy and functional zero loss journey, ensuring tracking and compliance to committed OB numbers.
  • Ensure focus on delivering productivity targets by eliminating losses in processes related to uptime, DIM Waste, Yield, Overtime, R&M (repair and maintenance), utilities and environment.
  • Is responsabile for the strategy definition and deployment of reapplication and knowledge sharing in the area of competence.
  • Coach the team to encourage a mindset of continuous improvement.

MORALE:

  • Build an high performing team to drive PMI cultural transformation
  • Guarantee development of the organization (Business Units, Tech Service, self-sufficient teams as per Open+/IOS journey), focusing on ownership, capabilities and leadership growth.
  • Builds effective networks relationships within production function and other key stakeholders across the business in order to achieve outstanding business outcomes.

  • Act as a Pillar Leader/Pillar Member of the assigned pillar Develops the full year pillar plan aligned with OPEN+ Phase journey.
  • Leads pillar reviews as per defined frequency.
  • Actively leads pillar trainings, audits and ensures self and team capability based on step-up cards.
