Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic leader to head our Procurement & Supply Chain operations for the restaurant chain business. The Head of Procurement will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement function with a primary focus on sourcing live chicken, goat, ox, and a variety of sea fish to support meat and seafood processing for our menu, including Thai and Chinese items.
This role requires strong expertise in livestock and seafood procurement, contract farming relationships, vendor management, and strategic cost optimization. The Head of Procurement will ensure consistent, high-quality, and cost-effective supply of core raw materials, while lead a professional team and drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation in procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the procurement strategy for live chicken, goat, ox, and sea fish to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Establish and strengthen long-term partnerships with contract farmers, poultry farms, cattle traders, livestock markets, and fish suppliers.
Oversee supplier performance, negotiate strategic contracts, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure procurement complies with halal, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
Conduct regular farm, market, and supplier visits to guarantee quality and build strong networks.
Lead the sourcing of other essential restaurant supplies including dry goods, packaging, equipment, and consumables.
Forecast demand in collaboration with Operations and Production to align supply with business needs.
Implement systems and processes for procurement transparency, accountability, and reporting.
Prepare, monitor, and control procurement budgets with regular cost analysis and supplier benchmarking.
Mentor, guide, and manage the procurement team to deliver operational excellence.
