Additional certifications like CAMS, CFCS, ACCA, CFA, CA, CIMA, CMA, or CISA are preferred.
Minimum 20 years of banking experience in any commercial bank out of which 5 years in Compliance functions including AML/CFT functions.
Build and manage a skilled IC&C team, promoting professional growth, and establishing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals and performance metrics for the IC&C team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages proactive risk management.
Maintain thorough documentation of all IC&C activities, including regulatory correspondence, risk assessments, and audit responses.
Overseeing the entire ICC division, ensuring compliance with core risk and comprehensive risk management guidelines set by the Bangladesh Bank.
Maintaining knowledge of laws and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the bank complies with all relevant regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies.
Implementing measures to prevent fraud and reduce risks, evaluating change requests in banking applications according to local regulatory guidelines.
Should be responsible for total administration of Internal Control and Compliance (ICC) Division of the bank.
Prepare and submit regular compliance and risk management reports for the Audit.
Maintains knowledge of the laws and regulatory guidelines by which the bank is required to comply.
Implementation of the bank`s anti-money laundering / KYC policy.
Follow-up on the resolutions of audit findings.
Issues relating to the Risk, Legal & Compliance and other control related activities to be addressed.
Ensure adequate and effective internal control system and assist the Management in formulating pertinent policies and operational procedure of the company.
Recommend security measures to prevent fraudulence and risk-reduction solution.
Evaluating Change request in Banking Applications as per local regulatory Guidelines.
As per directives, to prepare the report and give presentation before the EC and Board.
To oversee whether bank is following regulatory guidelines internal policies & procedures set by BOD
