Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage USL’s equity, macroeconomic, sectoral, and thematic research activities
Develop and execute the research strategy and roadmap aligned with the firm’s investment and brokerage objectives
Oversee preparation of equity research reports, market outlooks, sector reviews, and investment strategy notes
Provide research insights to support proprietary portfolios and asset management decisions
Support institutional and high‑net‑worth clients through research‑backed market intelligence
Ensure research compliance with BSEC regulations, disclosure standards, and internal governance policies
Represent USL in investor briefings, seminars, media engagements, and industry forums, as required
Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing research team
Support the OMS and branding teams by providing strategic suggestions and ideas for social media content.
Strengthen USL’s research brand and thought leadership in Bangladesh’s capital market
