Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate with Preferably degree in Sales & Marketing or Supply Chain Management.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide strategic leadership and direction to the sales team to achieve the sales key performance index and the required service standards.
∎ Plan, organize and drive the Sales team towards achievement of periodic sales targets.
∎ Define, plan, develop local sales strategies, and ensure the implementation of new strategies / Bollore BGD strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed customers’ expectations.
∎ Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
∎ Conduct and execute sales budgeting with the Country Manager.
∎ Lead local product development in coordination with Routes & Products Managers.
∎ Train, motivate and develop the Sales team to maximize traffics from customers.
∎ Preparation of different reports as per request from NBDM and Bollore BGD Top Management
∎ Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8-10 years solid experience in freight forwarding/logistics.
∎ At least 2 years’ experience in similar position in an International Freight Forwarder.
∎ Must be experienced in sales & marketing related to export & import having good contacts with buying offices, garments and other Export/Import companies.
∎ Excellent command in written and spoken English.
∎ Well versed in MS office packages (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
∎ Ready to travel/move as required.
