Job Summary:
The Head of Food Home Delivery Development will lead the strategy, setup, and scaling of the company’s food delivery business. This role is responsible for building a high-performing delivery ecosystem, optimizing operations, enhancing customer experience, and driving revenue growth across digital and physical delivery channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute the overall food delivery strategy aligned with company goals
- Identify growth opportunities in online and offline delivery markets, Launch new delivery concepts and service models
Operations Management
- Design and optimize end-to-end delivery operations (order to fulfillment), Ensure efficient kitchen-to-customer delivery processes
- Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Implement SOPs for consistent service quality
Technology & Platform Integration
- Work with tech teams to develop or improve ordering platforms (apps/web/Call Center/Outlet Phone base)
- Integrate with third-party delivery platforms, use data analytics to improve performance and customer insights
Team Leadership
- Build and lead cross-functional teams (operations, logistics, customer service)
- Train and mentor team members for operational excellence, Foster a high-performance and customer-focused culture
Customer Experience
- Ensure seamless and positive customer journey, develop loyalty programs and retention strategies, Handle escalations and improve service recovery processes
Financial Management
- Manage P&L for the delivery business
- Control costs (logistics, packaging, commissions)
- Drive revenue growth and profitability
Compliance & Quality Control
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
- Comply with local regulations and licensing requirements
