Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/M.Sc in Fisheries from reputed university.
∎ Must have B.Sc/M.Sc in Agricultural from Agri university/college.
∎ Training/Trade Course: Agricultural
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in preparing production plan, schedules and annual budget to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
∎ Monitor and maintain water quality and temperature to ensure optimal conditions for fish health and growth.
∎ Experience in maintain the preparatory works like pond preparation, brood stocking and rearing, hatchery disinfection, material acquisition timely and appropriately.
∎ Prepare action plan to produce fish spawn/fry and other products as per annual production plan.
∎ Monitor fish health and implement measures to prevent and control disease outbreaks.
∎ Keep all production records accurately & up-to-date and prepare regular reports on hatchery performance.
∎ Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that all production activities are aligned with company goals and objectives.
∎ Perform any other duty as and when assigned by the respective authority.
∎ Monitoring and maintaining greenhouse climate conditions such as temperature, humidity, and lighting.
∎ Assist in preparing production plan, schedules and annual budget to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
∎ Planting, propagating, and pruning various types of plants.
∎ Applying fertilizers and pesticides to plants as needed.
∎ Conducting regular pest and disease checks and implementing appropriate control measures.
∎ Keeping records of plant growth and greenhouse activities.
∎ Managing inventory of greenhouse supplies such as fertilizer, and seeds.
∎ Collaborating with other horticulturists and greenhouse staff to develop growing strategies and schedules.
∎ Having vast idea about Bangladesh crops, vegetables and fruits production and prices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in relevant aqua field.
∎ Have sound knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
∎ Have excellent communication skills both in English & Bangla.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
∎ Passion for fish and the aquaculture industry.
∎ Within project area, provided by the project promoters
