Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and manage the land procurement team, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful acquisition of land for joint venture development projects.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, government authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth land procurement processes.
∎ Conduct thorough due diligence, including legal, environmental, and feasibility assessments, to evaluate the suitability of potential land acquisitions.
∎ Negotiate and secure land purchase agreements, including price negotiation, terms, and conditions, and liaise with legal teams to finalize contracts.
∎ Stay updated on the real estate market trends, pricing, and competitor activities in Bangladesh to make informed decisions.
∎ Ensure all land acquisitions comply with local laws and regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
∎ Coordinate with various internal stakeholders, including project development, legal, and finance teams, to ensure a smooth transition from land acquisition to project development.
∎ Provide regular updates to senior management on land procurement progress and challenges.
