Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead postpaid bill collection & credit management policies & processes for on time collection of postpaid dues and protecting company from any possible bad debt
∎ Monitoring the accounts receivable portfolio for trends and warning signs, through direct management of postpaid credit terms
∎ Assess the creditworthiness of customers and make recommendations regarding credit limits and payment terms to B2B & B2C postpaid product managers
∎ Handle customer disputes related to postpaid invoices and payments, working towards quick resolution while maintaining positive customer relations
∎ Join forces with sales team and customers to establish and monitor payment plans for those experiencing financial difficulties, aiming to recover outstanding debts while maintaining customer goodwill
∎ Collaborate with sales and legal team to initiate due processes against delinquent postpaid cases when necessary, following company guidelines
∎ Lead and manage Debt Write-off policy and arrange timely write-off of select debts that meet all criteria of the write-off policy
∎ Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in postpaid credit control, actively seeking opportunities to improve processes and strategies
∎ Prepare and assist with credit control audits, regulatory compliance, and external audits as required by internal and external stakeholders
∎ Develop and refine credit risk models and scoring systems to enhance the accuracy of credit assessments and use it to enhance the visibility of changing risk profiles for individuals to corporate market and guide decisions
∎ Review, revise and implement timely and effective credit and collection performance reporting system with insightful metrics and actionable information
∎ Digitize credit, collection & retention journeys that are real time and most simple to promote trust and convenience for customers as per company's digital ambition
∎ Drive continual automation, efficiency and effectiveness for postpaid back-office activities, invoice / electronic invoice distribution and payment processes
∎ Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that impact credit control and ensure the developments are supportive of postpaid credit & collection objective
∎ Build and maintain most agile and customer obsessed frontline team who will be part of postpaid collection and retention activities by ensuring required trainings, processes and systems are in place for the frontline
Additional Requirements:
∎ Bachelors degree in business or another relevant field
∎ 08+ years total relevant experience including experience of managing a large team
∎ Required Capabilities- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute business strategy to meet the strategic needs of an organization as a P&L leader of any discipline
∎ Extensive experience in cross-functional collaboration to define and optimize processes, value chain, customer journeys with proven effect realizations
∎ Analytical and critical thinker that is data driven. Turns data into action, uses strong project management skills to drive the continuous business performance improvement
∎ Experience or examples of applying customer research, insights, and analysis to large scale change management projects preferably in similar field / industry
∎ Well versed in digital technologies, adopting new technologies and maximizing their impact on own domain and in change management
∎ Knowledge or experience of customer credit control practices and policy developments in telecom industry or other field where application of client rating is required
∎ Experience of leading business processes of any discipline where risk assessment is critical part of the business decisions
∎ Experience on CVM & Retention activities, personalized & contextual marketing practices in Telecom, FMCG or similar industry
∎ Telecom Postpaid Product Management experience of any capacity will be a plus point
∎ Understanding of Telecom / MNO financial practices and reporting will be preferred
∎ Aptitude for learning new technology, advance tools to improve process efficiency and customer experience. Previous examples of leading Process Automations (e.g. use of RPA) will be preferred
∎ Understanding of NPS, CSAT or other customer satisfaction measurement practices
