Project Summary: Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP) is an ongoing Program (CPRP) of CCDB. This program will work with more than 50 thousand beneficiaries for their empowerment and sustainable development. The program will support organizational development, gender equality and empowerment, sustainable livelihood and food security and markets, adaption, and mitigation measures. This program covers 15 districts in Bangladesh.
Role of this Position: To provide leadership, management, technical, and administrative support to all Coordinators and Managers across CPRP locations, as well as Area Managers and their staff teams, so that they can deliver the planned services and products to the communities CCDB intends to serve through CPRP-facilitated community-based people's organizations, including Forums and their Networks.
Job Summary: To ensure the good governance of human, financial, and material resources for the empowerment of community-based people’s organizations (Forums) and their Networks as sustainable social and economic forces by enhancing the human, social, financial, physical, natural, and institutional capital of communities through various CPRP programs and activities, including: (i) the establishment of People’s Organizations; (ii) advocacy initiatives; (iii) livelihoods, food security, and market development; (iv) women’s empowerment; (v) peace and justice; and (vi) climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction (DRR).
Responsibilities of the Position and Duties Performed:
Provide leadership, management and administrative support to Coordinators, Area Managers of CPRP (Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program) and their team members for smooth operation of CPRP activities.
Assist and guide Coordinators and Area Managers in Planning, Organizing and implementing program activities effectively.
Prepare the report and present it for the Commission Members and General body of CCDB.
Act as a member of the Senior Management Team for coordination and discussion for overall organizational strategic affairs.
Maintain linkage with other departments such as Finance, Human Resource, Disaster Management, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, General Administration and Internal Audit section to ensure effective Coordination, for smooth implementation of the program.
To maintain effective liaison with national and international donors and networks
Review activity reports to determine progress and status of the program in attaining output and outcome as outlined in the project plan and provide necessary feedback to Area Managers.
Continue in formulating strategic direction of the organization; identify trends and developments and new areas of programmatic involvement.
Delegating responsibilities and authorities to respective team members for their better performance.
Finalize consolidated report for the management and other stakeholders.
Assist Executive Director in preparing responses to the quires/concerns raised on organizational matters/programs by the funding partners ana governments.
Evaluate performance of Coordinators and Area Managers.
To represent the CCDB at national and international level.
To ensure monitoring of program on a regular basis.
To design questionnaire, charts for ensuring participatory monitoring and evaluation process.
To take initiatives designing the action research project with universities/research institutions
