Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Law (LLB), Master of Law (LLM)
∎ Candidate must possess a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (out of 4)/1st Division at both graduation and post-graduation level and minimum CGPA of 4 (out of 5)/1st Division at S.S.C and H.S.C levels.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Candidate must be enrolled as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Banking law
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To supervise timely filing of the litigations under the NI Act, 1881, Artharin Adalat Ain, 2003 and others.
∎ To ensure the appearance of the litigation officers before the concern Court for taking necessary steps.
∎ To pursue Law Chamber for quick disposal of the litigations.
∎ To supervise and ensure every step is taken in the litigations timely and properly.
∎ To monitor the litigations expeditiously for quick disposal.
∎ To ensure all correspondences with Law Chamber in written or through mail.
∎ To ensure timely submission of updated litigation data and report to MIS Unit for regulatory compliance.
∎ To furnish legal opinion/guidance upon litigation matters, internal departments and business.
∎ To supervise other legal and para-legal issues to be assigned/instructed by Head of Group Legal to upheld the interest of Bank.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Ability and willingness to work under pressure.
∎ Ability and willingness to make visible contribution in the quick disposal of the litigations.
∎ Strong communication in both English and Bangla & interpersonal skill.
∎ Candidates must have good knowledge about banking related Laws and Company Laws.
∎ Candidates must have good drafting skills and strong command over Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
∎ Candidate must have high moral character with integrity and good professional track record.
