Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the company complies with all applicable Bangladeshi laws, including labor laws, financial regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific regulations.
∎ Monitor regulatory changes and updates, advising senior management on potential impacts and necessary actions.
∎ Develop, review, and implement company-wide compliance policies and procedures.
∎ Regularly update internal policies to reflect changes in local and international regulations.
∎ Ensure employees at all levels are aware of compliance policies and conduct training to reinforce adherence.
∎ Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential legal and compliance risks.
∎ Develop and oversee risk management strategies, including the mitigation of regulatory, operational, and computational risks.
∎ Implement and monitor internal controls to detect and prevent non-compliance.
∎ Ensure all transactions are compliant with Bangladeshi laws and international standards, guidelines.
