The role:
The Head of Business Development is a key member of the Country Management Team, providing strategic leadership on funding, donor mapping, and partnership development. This role is responsible for shaping and implementing the country’s business development and resource mobilization strategy, generating diverse funding opportunities, and strengthening donor relationships. The position involves fostering innovation in programme design, ensuring cost-effective interventions, and guiding teams to meet donor requirements with high-quality proposals and reports. The Head of Business Development will explore non-traditional funding streams, build strategic partnerships—including with the private sector and academia—and mobilize support across Oxfam affiliates. This role requires exceptional expertise in partnership building, grant management, and strategic planning to advance Oxfam’s funding aspirations and programme impact.

Salary & Benefits: as per Oxfam National C1 pay band, starting annual salary for this role is BDT 2,918,255.00 (13 months) with other benefits e.g., medical for self, spouse and children, contributory provident fund, gratuity, leave, life insurance, mobile allowance, and other admissible benefits as per the organizational policy. For highly competent & experienced candidates, the salary can be negotiable.
