Role Overview: You’ll own frontline technical operations for our retail hardware ecosystem — POS terminals, barcode scanners, printers, network peripherals, and in-store digital devices. Your mission: ensure zero-downtime retail operations through precise troubleshooting, fast resolution, and proactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain retail hardware including POS systems, scanners, printers, cash drawers, tablets, routers, and in-store IoT devices.
Perform on-site installation, configuration, testing, and calibration of hardware at client retail locations.
Execute root-cause analysis for recurring technical failures; recommend structural fixes rather than patchwork solutions.
Handle L1/L2 technical support tickets with SLA discipline - remote and on-site.
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, replacements, and service activities.
Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal engineering teams for escalations or component-level fixes.
Conduct preventive maintenance visits and routine health checks to minimize breakdowns.
Train store staff on safe hardware usage, troubleshooting basics, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and data-handling standards during service activities.
