• MBBS with post-graduation training in Gynae & Obstetrics.

• FCPS (Part 1) or DGO (Diploma in Gynae & Obstetrics) are preferrable.

• Valid medical license to practice.

• Strong clinical knowledge in gynecology and obstetrics, including diagnostic imaging.

• Proficiency in interpreting ultrasound scans.

Bakhtunnessa Chowdhury Diagnostic Center, a non-profit initiative of East Coast Group, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Gynecologist to join its medical services team. The incumbent will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of gynecological and obstetric conditions while ensuring high standards of patient care. The role also includes conducting routine check-ups, managing prenatal care, performing diagnostic imaging, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecological conditions.

• Manage prenatal care for pregnant women, monitoring maternal and fetal health to prevent complications such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and intrauterine growth restriction.

• Conduct routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears, breast exams and other screenings.

• Perform and interpret pelvic and obstetric ultrasound scans for diagnostic purposes.

• Diagnose gynecological conditions such as ovarian cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, and abnormal uterine conditions through ultrasound.

• Participate in patient case discussions, continuing medical education, and professional development activities.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with health regulations and standards.

• Document all clinical encounters, diagnoses, treatments, and referrals as per institutional guidelines.
