Job Context: We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Clinical Occupational Therapist who can assess, plan, and provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for individuals facing challenges in daily living skills, sensory processing, neurological, cognitive, psychosocial development, and overall functional independence. The selected candidate will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary professionals to maximize functional independence and ensure meaningful improvement in the client’s day-to-day life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments of functional, sensory, cognitive, developmental, and motor abilities.
Diagnose functional limitations and occupational performance barriers affecting daily living activities.
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans.
Provide therapy sessions using activities suited to each individual`s age, interests and developmental stage.
Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications where required.
Guide patients/caregivers on therapeutic activities, home programs, sensory strategies, and functional skill development.
Maintain accurate clinical records, session notes and progress reports.
Monitor client progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
Coordinate with physicians, other therapists and caregivers to maintain a consistent care approach.
Ensure confidentiality, professional ethics, and compliance with relevant guidelines.
