For Omera Renewable Energy Ltd. the Executive will be responsible for end-to-end execution of net metering processes for solar projects across factory, residential, and commercial sectors. This role demands strong coordination with clients, power utilities (PDB, REB), and internal teams to ensure seamless net meter installation. Additionally, the position supports government tender documentation and policy-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Net Metering Client Communication & Execution
Communicate with clients to explain net metering requirements, benefits, and procedures.
Manage the entire net metering process – from application submission to final net meter installation for factories, residential buildings, and commercial establishments.
Coordinate with project engineering teams to ensure technical alignment with utility requirements.
2. Utility Relationship Management (PDB, REB, etc.)
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Power Development Board (PDB), Rural Electrification Board (REB), and other relevant utilities.
Liaise with utility officials to expedite application approvals, inspections, and meter installations.
Resolve any regulatory or technical objections raised by utilities during the approval process.
3. Government Tender Support
Assist in preparing and submitting documentation for government tenders related to renewable energy projects.
Ensure compliance with tender requirements, deadlines, and submission formats.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams as needed for bid submissions.
4. Governance & Policy Writing
Draft or contribute to internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance documents related to net metering and grid integration.
Stay updated on national net metering rules, solar policies, and regulatory changes.
5. Electrical Design Coordination (as needed)
Review basic electrical designs (single-line diagrams, meter placement, etc.) to ensure compatibility with utility net metering standards.
Work with design engineers to modify drawings based on utility feedback.
