Responsibilities & Context: Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort Boroshala, Khadimnagar, Airport Road, Sylhet Department: Front Office Employment Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities: Complete guest check-in, which includes assigning guests their room and giving them keys Store guests` luggage and mail Provide directions and hours of any hotel amenities Complete guest check out, include giving guests their final bill and collecting payment Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service Give a warm welcome and check in guests taking into account the established SOPs Check out of departing guest in accordance with the established standards Sell rooms to walk-in guests & be responsible for all pro-active & day-to-day facilities issues Responsible for cash inventory, cashing cheese and bills of exchange in foreign currencies for hotel guest in accordance with the credit policy Cooperate with colleagues from all departments Ensure that the Guest Service Desk is manned, operationally prepared & stocked at all times for guests contact Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies and procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and happenings Administer check in of all guests & maintain record of all special requests at arrival. Coordinate and assist concierge in all services to guests and maintain knowledge on all emergency procedures and evaluate all credit limit report on everyday basis and manage room availability efficiently. Administer all guest complain and resolve all issues appropriately and within time limit Follow company policies and SOPs Experience Requirements: Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality.
