Responsibilities & Context: Grand Sylhet Hotel & Resort Boroshala, Khadimnagar, Airport Road, Sylhet Department: Sales & Marketing Employment Type: Full-time Job Responsibilities: Assist in planning, developing, and executing sales and marketing strategies to achieve the hotel’s revenue targets. Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, travel trade, and group segments. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new accounts. Conduct regular sales calls, site visits, and client meetings to promote hotel services and facilities. Handle all sales inquiries professionally and convert leads into confirmed business. Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and rate agreements to clients. Coordinate closely with Front Office, Reservations, F&B, and other departments for smooth execution of bookings and events. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide strategic recommendations to management. Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets, occupancy, and revenue goals. Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and branding initiatives. Represent the hotel at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client database, and business pipeline. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery. Follow up on post-event feedback and maintain long-term client relationships. Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and brand standards. Maintain professional appearance and represent the hotel positively at all times. Support and guide junior sales team members when required. Carry out any other duties assigned by management. Experience Requirements: Minimum 6–10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (preferably in hospitality industry).
