∎ The Grants and Partnership Manager ensures the quality of reporting at the base level, circulation of compliance rules to the team and support on drafting proposal as needed. S/he manages the portfolio of partners from the base and support with the monitoring and the development of new partners.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Support the elaboration of donor reporting documents and ensure the follow up of the mission's reporting obligations in relation with the Country Director, the DCDs and Divisional and Deputy Divisional Director
∎ Ensuring that the donors' guidelines are disseminated to the base team and respected;
∎ Support to program and support team in compiling, editing, improving quality of contents and completing external reports which include all required annexes
∎ Ensuring grants meet donor compliance regulations
∎ Monitoring and improving the quality of interim and final reports by ensuring the respect of internal (for validation) and external deadlines and the compliance with the donor guidelines and requirements, and integrating formal and informal recommendation and lessons learnt.
∎ Acting as focal point for the base for collecting, sharing and archiving the projects' documents by sharing all official documentation (final/approved version of concept notes, proposals, reports, amendments etc.) with the concerned persons at mission's and HQ's level.
∎ Uploading all official and relevant documents on NAS server and NHF
∎ Support the MEAL and communication team in capitalizing learning from report outcomes
∎ Ensuring that the questions and comments from donors, auditors and evaluators are handled in coordination with the audit department
∎ Mission 2: Ensure proper relationship with donors and support local fundraising
∎ Supporting the proposal development process as requested by the Grants and Partnership Coordinator.
∎ Participating in the research of donor funding opportunities with the Field Co and Deputy Field Co.
∎ Support in organizing project inceptions/kickoff meeting, facilitating signing of donor agreements.
∎ Support the Grants and Partnership Coordination in ensuring a proper communication channel to donors.
∎ Supporting in keeping donors informed of progress and milestones
∎ Mission 3: Contribute to the development and roll out of the mission strategy in relation with the Country Director, Deputy Country Directors and Divisional and Deputy Divisional Director
∎ Contribute to the training plan for the base especially with regards to the capacity building of writing skills
∎ Support the Grants and Partnership Coordinator in drafting and preparation of concept notes and full proposals
∎ Mission 4: Partnership Management
∎ Support the Partnership Manager in conducting assessments and Due Diligence with the partners if necessary.
∎ Monitor and review on a regular basis Management Information (MI) of all agreement and contract (duration/expiry/reminder for extension/follow up /etc.).
∎ Coordinate the implementation of capacity building sessions with the programme and support team and conduct sessions on grants management, reporting or fundraising with the partners if appropriate.
∎ Organization of Internal or External meetings / workshop on partnership management and Field Visits as required in coordination with the Grants and Partnership Coordinator
∎ Representation in some external relationships (partners: NGOs/ INGOs/ Universities/ Research Institutes).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 years’ experience in relevant area, Donor’s reporting, Institutional Donors with profound back ground in Narrative /Program Report consolidation, M&E and understanding of general programming.
∎ Have experience in research, writing and drafting documents.
∎ Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
∎ Strong attention to detail, and excellent analytical, writing and synthesis skills.
∎ Be computer literate in standard software applications including MS Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
∎ Proactive and critical mind.
∎ This position will require a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
∎ Capacity to work effectively in multi-cultural environment.
∎ Understanding of programs related to emergencies and humanitarian issues in Bangladesh.
∎ Proactive information gathering skills.
Salary: Tk. 93699 (Monthly)
