Additional Requirements:
  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • 14–20 years of working experience in the RMG industry, with a strong focus on Outerwear Garment Manufacturing (e.g., jackets, padded/quilted styles).

  • Hands-on knowledge in SMV calculation, Time Study, Method Study, Line Balancing, and Productivity Improvement.

  • Proven track record in leading a large IE team and driving performance in a high-volume, quality-sensitive environment.

  • Proficient in IE tools (e.g., GSD, Lean Tools) and ERP systems.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are a reputed outerwear garments manufacturer producing jackets, quilted, padded, and down garments for global brands. To strengthen our IE function and enhance productivity, we are hiring a results-driven GM– Industrial Engineering with proven expertise in outerwear production, cost optimization, and capacity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct all aspects of Industrial Engineering activities across the factory floor with a focus on continuous improvement and output maximization.

  • Simplify and streamline operations of confirmed orders starting from the sampling stage, ensuring ease of execution and process control.

  • Monitor and analyze operation-wise capacity to maximize production output and improve efficiency at each stage.

  • Prepare and manage manpower budgets for all direct production workers; drive continuous manpower optimization through systematic improvement.

  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and implement innovative methods to improve production productivity and reduce operational costs.

  • Develop and propose capital investment plans with detailed Return on Investment (ROI) projections for machinery, layout changes, or process automation.

  • Implement strategic IE methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Time Study, Line Balancing, etc.) to drive performance across sewing, finishing, and washing operations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Planning, Merchandising) to ensure aligned execution from development to delivery.

  • Guide the IE team to prepare accurate SMV, capacity studies, operation breakdowns, and bulletins specifically tailored for outerwear garment styles.
