∎ The CRISC project has supported the Sirajganj and Satkhira Municipality to prepare the Climate Resilient Inclusive Urban Master Plan (CRIUMP) and a national Methodology to prepare the CRIUMP for other cities in Bangladesh. Now the drafts will go through several processes through the Urban Development Directorate (UDD) and the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (MoLGRD&C) to review and validate. The draft CRIUMP and the national methodology will require incorporating feedback and comments from different stakeholders. The CRIUMP contains a set of GIS databases and maps. These GIS databases and maps must be updated based on further feedback and comments from the month-long "Public Hearing Event" in Satkhira and Sirajganj Municipality to produce the final versions, which will be an integral part of the revision process of the draft two CRIUMP, developed by the Satkhira and Sirajganj Paurashava. At the central level, an intensive 5-day long training on GIS concept, and application of GIS in civil works by using the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to senior officials of the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) are required to initiate the technical knowledge transfer process within the organization. GIZ is looking for a suitable and highly qualified "National Senior Consultant-GIS application in Civil Works" with the following working experience and competencies:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Language: Good business language skills in both English and Bangla
∎ General Professional experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience developing city-level master plans.
∎ Specific professional experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant GIS application for Urban Planning including experience in developing city-level master plans in a senior/leading role.
∎ Leadership/management experience: 10 years of management/leadership experience as a manager or comparable positions.
∎ Regional experience:15 years of experience in projects in the urban sector in Bangladesh
∎ Development Cooperation (DC) experience:5 years of experience in DC projects with UDD, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and other relevant ministries and international development partners
