Experience:
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, social work, economics) preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience in the development field, in delivering technical skills training, business management training, career counseling, or job placement services in humanitarian sector.
Advising and assisting beneficiaries (SME/Apprentices/CBT) in their business activities.
Establishing a business hub/Services in GFIS.
Linkage development with market actors, suppliers & local elite. Participate in LSDS & Camp Coordination meetings on behalf of Cordaid.
Strong understanding of local job markets and workforce development trends.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employers, community members, and partner organizations.
Basic knowledge on disaster management system at local level specifically UDMC and UZDMC.
Experience in capacity building of the disaster management committee at union, upazila and district level.
Good team member and skill team management and coordination skill with the government and other disaster relevant stakeholders.
Good in communication skills specifically presentation and capacity building of the staff.
Experience working with government/governance stakeholders at a local level.
Experience working within the NGO context at a field level.
Position based in Hnila Union Parishad, Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar.

Collaborate on business hub development and services:
Emphasis on business/enterprise centered on GFIS and involving FDMN beneficiaries (SME/Apprentices/Classroom Based Trainees) during and after 6 months skills development training Identify training needs through collaboration with community members, employers, and other stakeholders.
Strengthening the GFIS management committee.
Linkage development with market actors.
Job Placement Assistance:
Work closely with local businesses, organizations, and employers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
Assist program participants in preparing resumes, cover letters, and job applications tailored to specific opportunities with Technical Skills and Job placement Officer.
Provide guidance and support during job interviews, including mock interviews and interview preparation workshops with Technical Skills and Job placement Officer.
Facilitate connections between program participants and potential employers, acting as a liaison to promote successful placements with Technical Skills and Job placement Officer.
Career Counseling and Mentorship:
Offer individualized career counseling sessions to help participants identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
Provide guidance on career pathways, further education opportunities, and professional development resources.
Foster a supportive mentorship environment where participants can access ongoing guidance and encouragement.
Program Coordination and Administration:
Maintain accurate records of program participants, training sessions, and job placement outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless program delivery and coordination.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate program progress, impact, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Community Engagement and Outreach:
Promote awareness of the program within the community through outreach activities, informational sessions, and networking events.
Establish and nurture relationships with local community leaders, schools, and other relevant organizations. Act as an advocate for program participants, addressing their needs and concerns within the community.

Other duties/additional tasks:
Supports the project’s security and risk management system through identification, communication and analysis of potential risks and security issues in the project region and related mitigation recommendations and procedures.
Other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor to support program implementation, including for other project output.
