Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma or Certificate in Public Health or Geriatric Health related field
Job Context:
∎ Type of Contract: Fixed Term Contract up to 31 August 2021 with possibility of extension
∎ Job Purpose: S/he will be responsible for the promotion of adoption of food security and livelihoods activities for households with older people over 60 years old, towards their improved livelihoods and access to food towards improved nutrition and wellbeing.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select project beneficiaries with respect and impartiality, and ensuring the required coverage of the project areas.
∎ Mobilize community leaders and influential persons for sensitization meetings to ensure buy in and beneficiaries trust and willingness to participate in the project
∎ Ensure an enabling, friendly, collaborative and professional working culture with fellow staff and beneficiaries and adherence to Concern policies and procedures.
∎ Support MEAL team in data collection for surveys and evaluations.
∎ Share weekly field activities updates with the Community Mobilizer-Small Business.
∎ Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern's Code of Conduct and its associated safeguarding policies and Core Humanitarian Standards of Accountability (CHS) to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries, and to welcome feedback.
∎ Any other duties as specified by the Line Manager/Country Director/Emergency Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in community work with people over 60 years is required
∎ Good knowledge on Rohingya refugee context is required
∎ Ability to communicate fluently in Rohingya language or Chittagonian is required
∎ Experience working with older people over 60 years would be an advantage
Salary:
∎ Gross Salary Range BDT 27,316/-
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly Hardship Allowance of BDT 10,000/-, PF (contributory), Bonus (02), Gratuity, Group life and Hospitalisation Insurance coverages, OPD coverage, Mobile ceiling as per organisational policy
