Additional Requirements:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Chemistry or related field.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in Denim and Non-Denim laundry, with minimum 7-8 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in handling Woven denim and non-denim washing and production management.
Strong process orientation and ability to drive consistency in results.
Demonstrated leadership in managing teams for performance improvement.
Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities & Context:
Plan and manage full utilization of washing plant across dry and wet processes.
Align washing operations with customer delivery timelines and quality expectations.
Drive process consistency and quality assurance across all washing activities.
Maximize productivity through efficient use of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Monitor and reduce rejection rates through proactive quality control and process refinement.
Track and improve utility consumption, including boiler efficiency, in line with sustainability goals.
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and labor regulations.
Promote continuous learning and development for staff and non-staff in the washing area.
Institutionalize Kaizen practices to build a culture of innovation and progressive thinking.
Lead research and experimentation with new wash technologies and techniques.
Stay updated with industry innovations and integrate them into production.
Oversee development of new washes to meet evolving market trends and client demands.
