Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement robust quality control measures in the dyeing and finishing departments.
∎ Ensure adherence to international quality standards and customer requirements.
∎ Monitor the entire dyeing and finishing process to identify and resolve defects proactively.
∎ Drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
∎ Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to reduce wastage and enhance productivity.
∎ Work with the R&D team to develop new dyeing and finishing techniques.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and legal regulations related to dyeing and finishing.
∎ Maintain certifications such as OEKO-TEX, ZDHC, GOTS, and ISO standards.Lead, mentor, and train the quality team to enhance their technical capabilities.
∎ Develop a culture of quality consciousness among employees at all levels.
∎ Conduct regular audits and quality training programs.
∎ Collaborate with clients to understand their quality expectations and ensure delivery of the same.
∎ Address customer complaints related to dyeing and finishing quality and implement corrective actions.
∎ Conduct root cause analysis for defects and establish preventive measures.
